You can print or download one-time Printable Backup codes for times when your phones are unavailable, such as when you travel. Printable Backup codes are wonderful for people who do not have a smartphone and who are comfortable carrying paper. This method is free, and no technology is needed for this method.
Below are the instructions for securing your Wycliffe Identity and your Google Account with Printable Backup codes
Use the link below to go to the authentication management site
Go to the Google Account Management 2SV security page, sign into your Wycliffe Google account. This link above will send you directly to your Google Account Management log in page.
There are six boxes on the Wycliffe Identity Profile Page. Find the one that is for Printable backup codes (see above for example) and click the CREATE button to start.
Click CREATE NEW CODES.
There is a list of security options. Choose Backup Codes. Click SET UP.
These codes will only be displayed once so use the PRINT, DOWNLOAD, or COPY buttons to save them. Note that the COPY button only copies the numbers into your clipboard so you will need to paste them into a document. Click FINISH
PLEASE KEEP THESE CODES SECURE just as you would any password. A common practice is to print them out and put them someplace secure such as a wallet, purse, or safe. Remember that each of these codes can only be used once so make sure you repeat this process to generate more before you run out to avoid being locked out of your account.
